In this role, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering cutting-edge AI-powered solutions for educational institutions. Your leadership will ensure a seamless support experience while driving employee growth and innovation within the engineering team. Balancing technical expertise and people management, you will oversee the execution of a unified AI strategy focused on improving student engagement and retention. Accountabilities- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation in AI-powered automation.
- Provide technical guidance, sprint planning support, and career development for engineers.
- Oversee the end-to-end development of the AI engagement platform.
- Lead efforts to maintain an integrated chat system across multiple communication channels.
- Ensure secure integrations with major campus systems including SIS, LMS, and CRMs.
- Drive operational excellence by automating routine inquiries and reducing administrative burdens.
- Maintain strict adherence to compliance standards such as SOC2, FERPA, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams, ideally in the EdTech or SaaS sectors.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML integration, API-based architecture, and cloud-scale deployments.
- Passion for technology that improves educational outcomes and identifies at-risk students.
- Ability to leverage predictive analytics for informed decision-making.
- Experience collaborating with product and sales teams to deliver scalable solutions.
