We are currently recruiting a Health and Safety Specialist to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role is part of a global team working towardcommon goals. We operate as one company, across all locations, with shared responsibility andclear accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation of Company Health and Safety policies, programmes and best practices in power generation, transmission lines, water plant assets and construction projects, coordinating this activity with the different Operation & Maintenance teams, Atlantica local teams and contractors.
Audits and visits to the assets in different countries to monitor Health and Safety conditions, safety performance and level of implementation of best practices, procedures, standards, legal requirements, etc.
Control & Follow up of Health and Safety for Atlantica employees in different offices: training, medical examinations, emergency instructions.
Elaboration of safety documents such as risk assessments, hygienic measurement reports, etc.
Coordination with other departments and geographies of the Company and technical advising in Health and Safety.
Control & Follow up of the Health and Safety Management Systems of Atlantica based on ISO:45.001: procedures, audits, records.
Control & Follow up of Health and Safety Key Performance Indicators provided by different geographies, performing statistical analysis and consolidation reports to the Head Management.
Make presentations for Committees, Asset Managers, training sessions, etc.
Control of Health and Safety documents (records, reports, etc.).

Education and Certifications

Bachelor in Engineering
Master in Health & Safety (desirable)
Knowledge of Process Safety

Experience and Technical Skills

Experience of at least 1-3 years in a H&S corporate department or similar
Experience in power generation sector and/or in chemical industry
Experience performingreports for the Head Management..
