About This Position
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a warehouse environment.Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse safety standards.Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required by warehouse duties.
- Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) and barcode scanning technology.Certification in forklift operation and OSHA safety standards.Strong background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.Previous experience working in a fast-paced distribution center or fulfillment environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff to meet operational goals and deadlines.Oversee the daily operations including but not limited to receiving, storing and shipping product properly, minimizing damages and loss.Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse employees to promote productivity and professional development.Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and other departments to optimize warehouse processes.Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and staffing.
