The Lead React Native Mobile Developer will guide a team of mobile engineers while remaining hands-on in coding, ensuring technical excellence across iOS and Android. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, product teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into performant, maintainable, and scalable mobile solutions. This position emphasizes technical leadership, mentoring, and innovation in React Native, Expo, and TypeScript ecosystems. Projects range from AI-enhanced apps to large-scale enterprise platforms, requiring creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The role also includes evaluating new mobile strategies, integrating native modules, and contributing to internal tooling and best practices.

• Lead architecture, technical strategy, and system design for cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript
• Develop and maintain performant, maintainable component libraries and design systems aligned with design tokens and Figma workflows
• Integrate native modules in Swift or Kotlin to extend React Native capabilities, including hardware APIs and AI/ML features
• Mentor and guide mobile development teams through code reviews, pair programming, and architectural coaching
• Drive engineering best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, modular architecture, and developer tooling
• Collaborate with designers, product strategists, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and accessible mobile experiences
• Serve as a technical advisor to stakeholders, presenting architectural recommendations and ensuring adherence to quality standards

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional mobile development experience, with 4+ years focused on React Native and a strong portfolio of production-grade apps
• Deep expertise in React Native, Expo, TypeScript, and the modern React ecosystem (hooks, context, concurrent rendering)
• Proven experience as a technical lead or architect on large-scale, multi-team cross-platform mobile projects
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and platform-specific behaviors for iOS and Android
• Experience building native modules in Swift or Kotlin and integrating device capabilities (BLE, NFC, camera, biometrics)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (EAS Build, GitHub Actions, Fastlane) and automated testing (Jest, Detox)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with the ability to translate technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working in consulting, agency, or multi-client environments with fast-paced delivery and adaptability
