Associate Director of Biostatistics

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex clinical and biological questions into robust statistical frameworks. Accountabilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of biostatisticians, overseeing deliverables, technical development, and professional growth.
  • Drive statistical strategy and execution for oncology clinical validation studies across multiple programs.
  • Design and implement advanced statistical methodologies, including simulations and innovative study design approaches.
  • Ensure high-quality statistical documentation for internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and external collaborators.
  • Identify analytical risks, communicate statistical concerns, and propose solutions across cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with clinical, scientific, and product teams to support study design and interpretation of results.
  • Continuously improve team processes, efficiency, and analytical capabilities through methodological innovation.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree (Ph.D. or M.S., Ph.D. preferred) in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 7+ years of experience in clinical trial biostatistics, ideally within oncology or diagnostics.
  • Strong expertise in survival analysis, censoring techniques, and advanced statistical methodologies.
  • Experience with study design innovation, power calculations, and simulation-based approaches.
  • Proven leadership experience mentoring and developing junior statisticians or analysts.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional, multidisciplinary scientific environments.
  • Familiarity with NGS, ctDNA, or molecular oncology is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific rigor.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and contribute to strategic decision-making.
