Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Service Representative to support our warranty and repair operations. In this role, you will evaluate returned products, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure all work meets quality and manufacturer standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting continuous product improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and evaluate returned products under warranty
Inspect, test, and diagnose mechanical or electrical issues using diagnostic tools
Verify warranty eligibility and determine appropriate repair or replacement actions
Perform repairs, adjustments, and part replacements to restore product functionality
Accurately document findings, repairs, and parts used in internal systems
Maintain detailed records including serial numbers, repair time, and outcomes
Communicate with customers regarding claim status and provide usage recommendations
Identify recurring issues and support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service teams to resolve product concerns
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following all safety protocols
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required (Technical Certificate or associate's degree preferred)
2+ years of experience in manufacturing, repair, or technical support
Strong mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Experience using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments
Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
Basic computer skills; experience with ERP/CRM systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, bending, and kneeling
Comfortable working with tools and equipment in a hands-on environment
