REGISTERED NURSE - PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM at CalvertHealth – Prince Frederick, Maryland

Renders behavioral nursing care to partial hospitalization patients on the Behavioral Health Unit.

Associate's Degree in Nursing is required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.

Registered Nurse license in the State of Maryland.

Minimum of one year experience in a partial hospitalization program, preferred.

Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

Ability to effectively communicate with all patient populations.

Ability to appropriately apply therapeutic hold/restraint and seclusion procedures when necessary.

Ability to process patient information and perform assigned duties in a confidential, professional and empathetic manner.

Ability to operate internal computer systems and applications to effectively accomplish assigned duties.

CPR required within 30 days of hire date.

CPI required within 90 days of hire date.

Maintains unit specific and hospital competencies as required by policy.

Able to work holidays as needed

Expected to assist on In Patient Unit as needed
