Overview

Responsibilities

Mythics is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Project Manager to lead onsite delivery of Oracle-based programs within a financial institution. You own execution across ERP, EPM, or OCI initiatives. You ensure alignment across finance, IT, risk, and audit teams. You drive delivery with strong financial discipline, regulatory awareness, and executive engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle ERP, EPM, or OCI programs onsite
  • Own scope, schedule, budget, and delivery outcomes
  • Align finance, accounting, IT, and audit stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Act as primary interface with customer executives and program sponsors
  • Drive governance, reporting, and decision-making cadence
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards
  • Manage dependencies across Oracle modules such as GL, AP, AR, and reporting
  • Oversee data migration, integrations, and financial reporting alignment
  • Track financial performance, forecasts, and variances at the project level
  • Identify risks early, escalate with clarity, and drive mitigation actions
  • Lead steering committees, design reviews, and executive briefings
  • Ensure quality delivery across customer-facing and internal deliverables
  • Enforce accountability across delivery teams, partners, and stakeholders


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of work experience with 7+ years of experience in a project management or program management position.
Desired Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, or OCI
  • 7 to 10 years of experience leading large-scale ERP or financial system implementations
  • Experience working within banks, credit unions, or regulated financial institutions
  • PMP or equivalent certification

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSAs):

  • Strong financial background with deep understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger structures
  • Proven experience delivering Oracle ERP or EPM implementations in a financial environment
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit processes
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across finance, IT, and risk organization
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Project applications
  • Superior analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Understand revenue models, P/L, cost-to-completion projections and be able to make decisions independently, in-line with business plan objectives
  • Understand consulting pricing models and billing procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Organized with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers
