About This Position

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support the daily operations of a fast-paced, growing company. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, resourceful, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small office environment.
This position will serve as a central point of coordination for the office, including administrative support, payroll processing, and general operational tasks. While we do utilize an external HR/payroll support service, the ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of HR compliance and be responsible for ensuring internal accuracy, organization, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities
Office & Administrative Management
Answer phones, manage emails, and serve as the first point of contact for the office
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and general office operations
Maintain organized records, files, and internal systems
Monitor office needs, supplies, and general workflow

Payroll & Administrative Support
Assist with and process biweekly payroll using company systems
Review time entries and ensure accuracy prior to payroll submission
Monitor payroll reports, adjustments, and employee records
Track and support payroll-related items such as deductions and garnishments
Assist with year-end payroll processes including W-2 preparation

Employee & Operational Support
Coordinate onboarding logistics, background screenings, and system setup
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure systems are up to date
Assist with scheduling interviews and internal communications
Support tracking of PTO and employee information

Compliance & Business Support
Assist with documentation needed for audits or reporting as requested
Track business licenses, certifications, and renewal deadlines
Support general compliance tracking and internal documentation
Assist with basic reporting and administrative follow-up tasks

Technical Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook required)
