Pay Range

$107,300.00-$147,500.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

We set the benchmark high for our products—and even higher for our people. We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead the strategy, performance, and profitability of a roofing systems product line. This role is ideal for a commercially minded product leader who enjoys balancing strategy with execution and thrives in a highly cross‑functional environment.

As a Product Manager, you’ll own the full product lifecycle—from portfolio optimization and forecasting to value proposition development and commercialization—while partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Marketing to deliver profitable growth.

Own Product Strategy & Profitability

  • Develop and execute product line strategies aligned with an overall cohesive roofing systems portfolio
  • Drive overall product line profitability through daily management of price, cost, inventory, lifecycle, and mix
  • Evaluate and rebalance the portfolio using structured tools to identify cost optimization, SKU reduction, and new product opportunities

Lead Data‑Driven Decision Making

  • Deliver regular and ad‑hoc reporting and presentations to business leadership on product performance, trends, and initiatives
  • Develop 3–24‑month forecasts and actively manage near‑term (0–3 month) sales forecasts to achieve business objectives
  • Analyze competitive dynamics, market trends, and regulatory changes to inform strategic and operational plans

Partner Across the Business

  • Work closely with Pricing and Sales to establish contribution margin targets and pricing strategies based on market conditions and competitive intelligence
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to align SIOP planning with customer expectations and operational capabilities
  • Support account management and sales activities through tools, insights, and product expertise

Build Compelling Value Propositions

  • Develop and support value propositions for products and systems
  • Educate sales, customer service, and customers on product options, differentiation, and customer value
  • Coordinate development of selling tools, strategies, and marketing materials to drive profitable growth by market segment

Ensure Compliance, Quality & Lifecycle Excellence

  • Partner with Technical, Legal, and Code Management to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards (FM, UL, ASTM, etc.)
  • Ensure product labels, trademarks, patents, and contracts comply with regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Define customer expectations for product quality and ensure adherence to finished product specifications
  • Identify quality issues, risks, and improvement opportunities and drive resolution

Drive Innovation & Commercialization

  • Identify product gaps and new market opportunities
  • Lead JM‑Gate implementation and commercialization efforts for new and improved products
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Finance on annual cost take‑out initiatives with clear execution plans

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical, technical sales, or marketing role related to manufacturing or building products
  • MBA preferred

Product & Commercial Expertise

  • Proven experience developing and managing commercial product strategies with a strong customer focus
  • Solid understanding of product attributes, manufacturing processes, and product technologies
  • Demonstrated use of product and marketing tools such as portfolio analysis, segmentation, value proposition development, and competitive analysis

Leadership & Execution Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and influence in cross‑functional environments
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable interfacing with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Travel & Work Environment
  • Moderate travel required (30–50%)
  • Role is primarily office‑based in a professional office environment
