About This Position
As an Account Manager in our Private Client Group, you will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients with complex insurance programs, primarily supporting accounts averaging between $3,500 - $9,999 in commissionable revenue. The ideal candidate will be an experienced personal lines Account Manager with a background in high-net-worth client service and familiarity with carriers such as PURE, Chubb, Berkley One, and Cincinnati. You’ll bring industry knowledge, a strong understanding of the unique risk management needs of high-net-worth clients, and the ability to work closely with Risk Advisors as a trusted partner and family confidant. We approach service with a hospitality mindset, anticipating needs, delivering comprehensive and proactive renewal reviews, personalizing experiences, and delivering with the care and attention you’d expect from a five-star concierge.
Responsibilities & What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and service high-net-worth client relationships, overseeing new and renewal business while identifying opportunities to expand coverage and protection.
- Lead proactive, comprehensive renewal reviews with focus on coverage gaps and individual client needs.
- Utilize shared services to prepare new business and renewal submissions, including marketing, rating, proposals, and client presentations.
- Generate and process applications, binders, coverage summaries, BORs, invoices, certificates, and auto ID cards.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and professional service to clients, carriers, sales partners, and internal teams.
- Support risk advisors with marketing and placement efforts for new business opportunities.
- Underwrite, market, and quote additional lines of business for prospects, clients, and renewals, including benchmarking large accounts.
- Create proposal presentations for sales calls and renewal meetings.
- Participate in receivables management and account reconciliation.
- Deliver a strong client experience through responsive communication and proactive renewals.
- Stay current on product changes, carrier requirements, regulatory changes, and market trends.
- Follow department and agency defined processes, procedures, and workflows.
- Participate in internal training sessions as well as carrier system training.
- Ensure compliance with agency processes, confidentiality standards, and quality metrics.
- Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulatory changes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through training and learning opportunities.
- Support special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
- Effectively use MS Office, standard office applications, and other technologies.
- Skillfully use AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to aid work and efficiency.
- Work effectively with all team members, provide backup support, and contribute to team collaboration.
- Demonstrate alignment with the company’s purpose, values, and team-oriented culture.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities, You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of high net worth personal lines experience.
- College Degree Preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
- Experience and familiarity with underwriting, marketing, and quoting with specialty insurance carriers such as PURE, Chubb, Berkley One, and Cincinnati, among others.
- Property & Casualty Insurance License in good standing required.
- Strong understanding of the unique risk management needs of high net worth clients.
- Ability to build trust and serve as a family confidant for clients.
- Ability to make independent decisions, research/analyze problems, and develop solutions to provide outstanding client experience and support our team goals.
- Excellent service skills, delivering support with empathy, professionalism, and a client-first approach.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in applications, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly and explain coverage confidently.
- Organized and self-directed, able to prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented, collaborative, accountable, and willing to share knowledge and best practices.
- Stay relevant/ahead on industry insights and familiarity with complex insurance programs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Ensure compliance with agency processes, confidentiality standards, and quality metrics.
- Committed to continuous learning and professional development.
- Strong MS Office skills, agency management systems and carrier platforms experience.
- Proficient with AI tools, AI assisted workflows, and ability to learn new/future technologies and tools.
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, adaptable, stress tolerance to overcome hurdles.
- Team player who consistently defaults to good.
