About This Position

Aldrich is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to own the full AP cycle — from invoice review and coding to payment processing and reconciliations — while ensuring strong internal controls and timely execution.
In this role, you’ll manage purchase orders, oversee corporate credit cards, process employee expenses in Concur, prepare AP accruals, and support 1099 reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to keep operations running smoothly and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Requirements:You'll Get a Chance To
- Review, code, and ensure proper approval and documentation of invoices within the AP system
- Manage the full purchase requisition and purchase order process in alignment with AP policies and internal controls
- Process weekly AP payment runs including ACH, checks, and credit card payments with proper executive approvals
- Prepare monthly AP journal entries, including Concur expense accruals and vendor accruals
- Reconcile AP accounts and research variances to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Administer the corporate credit card program, including issuing, canceling, and monitoring card limits
- Process and review employee expense reports through Concur, ensuring compliance with AP policies
- Facilitate timely AP payments for invoices and contracted obligations
- Support the annual 1099 process and related AP reporting requirements
- Respond to AP-related inquiries and partner with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and support special projects
What You Bring to the Team
- Minimum of 2 years of AP or related accounting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- College degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Experience working within AP systems and expense management platforms (Concur experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of AP processes including invoice coding, accruals, reconciliations, and payment processing
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in AP documentation and reporting
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines within a fast-paced AP environment
- Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally on AP matters
- Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and accountability when handling confidential AP information
- Adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement within AP operations

Aldrich makes internal equity a consideration in all pay decisions. A reasonable estimate of the current range for the full time position is $25.00-$30.00/hour. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What You Should Know
This is a full-time position with the option of working 4 days a week based in one of our Oregon offices (Lake Oswego or Salem) and offers the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Standard office hours are Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM. Occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings or quarterly office visits.
