Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant at SmarTek21

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant with deep expertise in Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Redwood UX, and Oracle APEX to design, develop, and extend modern user experiences within the Oracle Fusion Cloud ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience building custom applications, Redwood-compliant extensions, and integrations that enhance Oracle Fusion HCM, ERP, or SCM functionality while adhering to Oracle’s modern cloud architecture and UX standards.
This role will work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions using Oracle’s low-code and cloud-native development platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design and develop custom applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) integrated with Oracle Fusion Cloud modules.
• Build modern Redwood UX compliant pages and extensions for Oracle Fusion applications.
• Develop Oracle APEX applications for analytics dashboards, workflow tools, and lightweight enterprise applications.
• Extend Oracle Fusion functionality using REST APIs, web services, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Fusion AI agent studio.

Redwood UX Development

• Implement Redwood design standards for Fusion extensions and custom applications.
• Develop Redwood-based UI components and responsive user experiences.
• Convert legacy pages or classic UIs into Redwood-compliant interfaces.

Integrations & APIs

• Develop integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud, external systems, and custom applications.
• Consume and expose REST APIs and SOAP services.
• Support integration patterns using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) where applicable.

Technical Architecture

• Design scalable architecture for Fusion extensions and micro-applications.
• Ensure solutions follow Oracle SaaS extensibility best practices.
• Optimize performance and maintainability of custom applications.

Collaboration

• Work with functional teams across ERP, HCM, and SCM to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in design workshops, architecture reviews, and solution planning.
• Provide guidance on Oracle Cloud development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
• Experience developing Redwood UX extensions and applications.
• Strong development experience with Oracle APEX.
• Experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, or SCM).
• Experience building applications using REST APIs and web services.

Development Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing Redwood UX transformations for Oracle Fusion customers.
• Experience building Fusion page extensions using VBCS.
• Experience working in large-scale Oracle Cloud implementations.
• Knowledge of Oracle security roles and data access frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Cloud development.
• Familiarity with Oracle AI Studio would be an advantage.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of Oracle technical development experience
• 3+ years of Oracle Cloud development (Fusion / VBCS / APEX)
