In this role, you will lead initiatives that enhance the engineering experience, streamline workflows, and ensure high-quality software delivery:
Shape and evolve the organization’s SDLC, tools, metrics, and processes to drive engineering efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with engineers to identify friction points, inefficiencies, and risks, providing actionable solutions across development teams.
Strategize and implement AI-driven enhancements to development processes, ensuring measurable business value.
Advocate for best practices in governance, security, and software quality across the engineering organization.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to teams, building consensus around innovative solutions.
Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to the reliability of engineering systems.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across a globally distributed engineering organization.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for developer productivity:
5+ years of experience in DevTools, DevOps, or engineering productivity roles.
Proven track record as a technical leader, providing direction and guidance in enterprise-scale engineering environments.
Extensive experience with software quality, CI/CD pipelines, SCM, build tools, and software development best practices.
Strong development skills in JavaScript, Node.js, or TypeScript within Linux or macOS environments.
Experience in distributed teams with high autonomy, capable of driving cross-team initiatives.
Familiarity with integrating AI into software development workflows, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and secure software practices.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, collaboration, and the ability to influence technical decisions at scale.
