About Us
Our 24‑bed Surgical/Med‑Surg Unit cares for adult patients recovering from a wide range of surgical procedures, as well as complex medical admissions. We are a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment where clinical skill, critical thinking, and genuine compassion come together to support healing. We believe great nursing starts with truly liking people—our patients, their families, and each other.
Who We’re Looking For
We want nurses who value human connection as much as clinical excellence. If you enjoy caring for people, supporting them through vulnerable moments, and being part of a collaborative team, you’ll feel right at home here. The ideal candidate is:
- Personable, compassionate, and motivated by meaningful patient care
- Skilled in med‑surg or post‑surgical nursing (or eager to grow into it)
- Able to manage a dynamic patient load with confidence and organization
- A strong communicator who thrives on teamwork
- Dedicated to safe, evidence‑based practice
What You’ll Do
- Provide high‑quality care to surgical and medical patients in a 24‑bed acute care setting
- Support patients through pre‑ and post‑operative recovery, pain management, wound care, and mobility goals
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, hospitalists, PT/OT, case management, and the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge needs
- Participate in unit quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Deliver care with empathy, dignity, and respect in every encounter
What We Offer
- Competitive pay and sign‑on bonus opportunities
- Strong orientation and ongoing training tailored to med‑surg and surgical care
- Tuition assistance
- A supportive, engaged leadership team that values your well‑being
- A culture built on teamwork, communication, and whole‑person care
Requirements
- Current RN license (state‑specific)
- BLS required
- Med‑Surg or surgical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome and supported
