Accountabilities:

  • Define and drive multi-year technical strategy for scalable, privacy-first user identity systems
  • Ensure consistent adoption of governed interfaces to maintain high-quality, compliant source-of-truth data

  • Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team while fostering an inclusive, high-ownership culture

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in engineering management or equivalent leadership roles
  • Strong background in distributed, large-scale backend and data systems: domain modeling, APIs, event-driven architectures, and offline pipelines
  • Proven experience driving adoption across multiple stakeholders and complex organizational structures
  • Expertise in building systems with scale, performance, privacy, compliance, and governance considerations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to define technical vision and influence cross-functional teams
  • Track record of inclusive leadership, talent development, and building high-ownership teams
  • Preferred: experience with identity/user/account modeling at scale, data governance practices, and partnership with compliance or trust organizations

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $204,000 – $255,000 USD, based on experience and role responsibilities
  • Fully remote within eligible U.S. states, with occasional onsite or offsite collaboration as needed
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement and financial benefits, including 401(k) and employer-paid insurance options
  • Generous paid time off, holidays, and parental leave policies
  • Professional development support and opportunities for career growth
  • Inclusive and collaborative work environment with focus on innovation, trust, and impact
  • Additional perks may include equity, bonus eligibility, and travel credits
