This role leads complex clinical study projects focused on autoimmune therapies, ensuring that objectives for quality, scope, cost, and timelines are consistently met. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage external vendors to deliver seamless project execution. This position requires strategic oversight of study budgets, risk management, and quality compliance while maintaining collaborative relationships across clinical, operational, and business development teams. You will contribute to the success of global clinical trials, supporting both operational excellence and innovative study designs. - Serve as the primary client contact and escalation point, ensuring smooth communication and project alignment
- Oversee all functional services, including external vendors, adhering to timelines and budgets
- Manage study budgets, control costs, and handle change orders to maintain project scope
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including risk management and mitigation strategies
- Ensure quality management, including eTMF inspection readiness, corrective action implementation, and adherence to SOPs
- Lead internal and client meetings, providing status updates and progress reports to stakeholders
- Support clinical operations and business development activities, including bid defenses and study-specific training
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, health, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years in clinical research and 4 years in direct project management, with experience in global, complex trials
- Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, clinical trial processes, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and implement change management strategies
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Preferred:
- Experience in Rheumatology and Oncology studies
- Proven ability to foster team ownership, productivity, and efficiency
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Competitive salary range: $147,300 - $220,900 USD, dependent on experience and qualifications
