We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. This is a key role within the dealership, responsible for structuring deals, securing approvals, and delivering a seamless and compliant finance experience for our customers. Role Summary

The Automotive Finance Manager is responsible for guiding customers through the financing and insurance process with professionalism, transparency, and efficiency. This role ensures all deals are structured in compliance with lender, OEM, and regulatory requirements while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Working closely with the Sales team, lenders, and customers, the Finance Manager plays a critical role in deal structure, funding, and overall dealership performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience & Deal Delivery
  • Meet with customers to present financing and leasing options clearly and professionally
  • Explain terms, payments, rates, and product options in a transparent and easy-to-understand manner
  • Deliver a seamless, efficient, and customer-first finance experience
Deal Structuring & Funding
  • Structure deals to meet lender guidelines while maximizing profitability
  • Complete and submit financing applications accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure all deals are properly documented, approved, and funded
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across all contracts and paperwork
Lender & Bank Relationships
  • Build and maintain relationships with lenders and financial institutions
  • Secure competitive approvals and financing options for customers
  • Continuously look for opportunities to expand lender options and improve deal flow
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure all financing activities comply with provincial regulations, lender requirements, and dealership policies
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling customer financial information
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices
Product Presentation & Profitability
  • Present and sell finance and insurance products including:
    • Extended warranties
    • Protection products
    • Maintenance plans
  • Achieve and exceed targets for product penetration and gross profit
  • Balance profitability with a strong customer experience
Sales Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Sales team to structure deals effectively
  • Provide guidance and support on financing options during the sales process
  • Train and coach sales staff on how to position finance products
Performance & Reporting
  • Track and report on key metrics including:
    • Finance penetration
    • Product sales
    • Approval rates
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance and processes
Customer Follow-Up
  • Follow up with customers post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
  • Resolve any issues related to financing or documentation promptly
Qualifications & RequirementsRequired
  • 2–3+ years of experience in automotive finance, sales, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of automotive financing, lending practices, and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to achieve finance and product penetration targets
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
  • High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deals under tight timelines
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Assets
  • Experience with dealership systems such as PBS
  • Background in truck or RV sales environments
  • Strong understanding of subprime and alternative lending solutions
