Purchasing Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the procurement of goods and services by preparing purchase orders and tracking deliveries

- Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions and supplier information

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise

- Support the evaluation of supplier performance and assist in supplier selection processes

- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide necessary support

- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management activities

- Prepare reports on purchasing activities and assist in budget tracking

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or supply chain management is a plus

- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field preferred

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Basic understanding of supply chain processes and procurement procedures
