This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the marketing operations function in a fast-growing, data-driven SaaS environment. You will own the systems, processes, and analytics that power the marketing engine, enabling smarter decision-making and scalable growth. Acting as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator, you will partner closely with marketing and sales leadership to optimize campaign performance, attribution models, and automation workflows. The position combines team management, technical expertise, and strategic influence, giving you high visibility into business outcomes. You will have the chance to implement cutting-edge AI-driven workflows, refine complex processes, and directly impact pipeline and revenue. In this role, you will:
- Own and optimize the marketing technology stack, ensuring it meets current needs and scales with business growth.
- Build and maintain marketing attribution models, dashboards, and reporting to provide clear visibility into performance and ROI.
- Partner with marketing and sales leadership to enable data-driven decisions on campaigns, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Design and implement complex automation workflows, including AI-powered processes, to improve team efficiency.
- Manage and develop a high-performing marketing operations team, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the go-to expert for lead management, lifecycle operations, and marketing data quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations and Finance to ensure alignment on processes, definitions, and reporting standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing operations, with strong expertise in Marketo (or equivalent MAP) and Salesforce.
- Proficiency in data analysis, including writing queries, building dashboards, and extracting actionable insights independently.
- Experience building or significantly improving marketing operations at a growth-stage company.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop talent in a small team.
- Strong strategic instincts with a clear understanding of how marketing operations drives pipeline, revenue, and business outcomes.
- Bias toward action and comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
- Bonus skills: experience with AI-powered marketing workflows, data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery), BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Sigma), multi-touch attribution frameworks, or experience in data infrastructure or developer tool ecosystems.
- Competitive salary range: $190,000 – $230,000 (based on experience and location) plus equity.
