Accountabilities:

As the MSO/IPA/MC Lead Programmer, you will:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex code for healthcare software projects, ensuring modularity, testability, and adherence to company standards.
  • Delegate coding tasks to team members, review their work for completeness and accuracy, and integrate it into the larger code base.
  • Develop, modify, and optimize existing code to enhance system performance and efficiency.
  • Facilitate both frontend (data input) and backend (data output and reporting) development, including the creation and consumption of web services.
  • Design and execute test cases, troubleshoot application issues, and provide timely resolutions to client concerns.
  • Mentor junior programmers, support knowledge sharing, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring project goals are met and system integrity is preserved.
  • Stay current with industry standards, healthcare regulations, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and compliance.
Requirements:

Candidates should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant programming experience in healthcare or complex software environments.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, MS SQL, MS Visual Studio, MVC, Web API, SSRS, SSIS, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience developing modular, clean, and maintainable code, with the ability to optimize existing systems for efficiency.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, testing methodologies, and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for mentoring, collaboration, and client engagement.
