About This Position
A Day on the Job Summary:
Our Hosts are the first point of contact for our Members and their guests. Hosts warmly greet guests, manage reservations, provide accurate wait times, seat patrons efficiently, answer phones, assist with cleaning and resetting tables and coordinate with servers to ensure smooth dining flow. Our seasonal hosts can start as early as April 15th and can work potentially through September 30th, depending on the season.
Essential Job Duties:
- Greet Members and guests with a warm welcome
- Preform side work such as changing out weekly menus
- Manage reservations
- Escort Members to their table
- Assist with cleaning and resetting tables
- Control the pace of seating to balance workload among servers
- Monitor table status
- Answer phones and make reservations
- Provide accurate wait estimates
- Enforcement of Club rules
Minimum Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to multitask
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to cooperate with other team members
Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Loud and busy environment
