Responsibilities:

• Must lead with accountability and guide the company toward world class performance using LMA leadership principles.
• Must be able to contribute actively as a key member of the Operations Team, supporting excellence across all functions and treating the Operations Team as your primary leadership group.
• Responsible to lead the Engineering team and its systems to ensure quality is built into every process.
• Must develop well-rounded engineers who can provide strong technical and application support to customers, including periodic on-site visits.
• Must manage all customer-related quality and performance issues through the CAR system, ensuring they are handled professionally and resolved with timely, data driven, and permanent corrective actions.
• Responsible for guiding the Health & Safety and Quality teams in maintaining strong, ISO compliant systems that support a safe, efficient, and high-performing workplace.
• Work closely with the Sales Team and customers to understand industry needs in Engineering, Product Design, Quality, and Performance.
• Must ensure all printers, routers, and documentation provided to the production floor are accurate, complete, and easy to follow.
• Must lead effective biweekly Level 10 meetings with Engineering, Safety, and Quality teams.
• Support Fast Academy, PIT Crews, and the R&D Lab. Encourage Product Engineers to participate in one to two Fast Academy classes each year.
• Drive continuous improvement using scorecards, measurable goals, and documented achievements as part of the progressive review process.
• Maintain strong practices and ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Required Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience working with Engineering and Quality Systems.
• 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience (10 years preferred).
• Bachelors degree in Engineering required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Skilled in gaging and metrology.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word) and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and statistical methods.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using GD&T.
• Experience with Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methods.
