The Multi-Project PM Director will provide executive-level oversight across multiple hyperscale data centre construction programmes throughout EMEA.
This role is accountable for delivery performance, governance integrity, budget protection, and operational readiness across concurrent projects and campuses.
Acting as a strategic interface between regional leadership, site-based Owner’s Representatives, project controls, and commercial teams, the Director will ensure consistency in delivery standards, risk management, and capacity milestones across the portfolio.
This is a senior leadership role requiring deep hyperscale construction experience, strong commercial acumen, and the authority to challenge contractors, developers, and internal stakeholders to protect programme outcomes.
Portfolio Delivery Oversight
- Oversee multiple concurrent data centre construction projects across EMEA.
- Ensure alignment of site-level delivery with regional capacity objectives.
- Provide structured governance across schedule, cost, quality, and risk functions.
- Standardise reporting and delivery frameworks across the portfolio.
- Lead and mentor Owner’s Representatives and site-based Construction PMs.
- Establish performance benchmarks and accountability standards.
- Escalate programme-level risks to executive leadership.
- Drive cross-project lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- Provide oversight of cost exposure, contingency usage, and change control.
- Ensure schedule integrity in partnership with Project Controls (P6) leads.
- Align time-cost risk visibility across the portfolio.
- Validate contractor performance at a strategic level.
- Ensure commissioning milestones are protected across sites.
- Maintain alignment between construction delivery and operational intent.
- Oversee defect governance and handover consistency.
- Protect energisation and go-live capacity dates.
- 15+ years’ experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated leadership across multi-site or campus-level programmes.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning, and energisation sequencing.
- Proven experience managing Tier 1 contractors and major consultancies.
- Deep commercial and contract management exposure (NEC/FIDIC).
- Strong executive reporting and stakeholder influence capability.
- Experience operating client-side within a hyperscale or developer environment.
