About This Position

Job Summary

Marketing Coordinator helps execute marketing efforts that drive sales, support Operations, and strengthen local brand presence across multiple restaurant locations. This role focuses on new store openings, improving store performance, and supporting community initiatives.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and execution focused, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and work cross functionally with Operations and external vendors. The Marketing Coordinator stays aware of market trends and competitors and helps to turn data and ideas into clear, actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Growth, Improvement & Brand Support

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, transaction trends, and key marketing metrics to identify growth opportunities
  • Identify performance gaps and partner with Operations to develop and support targeted action plans
  • Track competitor activity, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to inform local marketing efforts
  • Develop, edit, and proofread marketing materials, promotional content, and internal communications to ensure brand consistency
  • Maintain and manage a detailed marketing calendar, campaign timelines, and status reports across restaurant locations
  • Coordinate ordering, distribution, and replenishment of in-store point-of-purchase (POP) materials to support promotions and product launches

New Store Openings & Remodel Support

  • Coordinate marketing timelines and execution plans for new restaurant openings and remodel projects
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors across print, POP, radio, and digital media channels
  • Plan and execute Local Store Marketing (LSM) initiatives, including grand openings, ribbon cuttings, and on-site promotional events
  • Track opening budgets, invoices, vendor deliverables, and key milestone timelines to ensure successful launches

Community Engagement & Local Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local schools, sports teams, and community organizations to strengthen brand presence
  • Plan and execute community events, sponsorship activations, and fundraising initiatives
  • Manage donated coupon programs and promotional commitments, ensuring accurate tracking and fulfillment
  • Monitor outreach efforts, follow-ups, and participation results to measure community impact
  • Represent the brand professionally and positively in all community-facing interactions

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong follow-through and accountability
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally while also working independently with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend actionable marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for various audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills for tracking budgets, promotions, and performance metrics
  • Experience using Canva (or similar design platforms) to create basic marketing collateral, digital assets, and promotional materials
  • Interest in developing expertise within restaurant marketing, local store marketing (LSM), promotions, and brand advertising

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional walking, bending, and lifting 15 pounds may be required.

Other Duties

  • Some travel may be required.
