We are seeking a responsible individual to shuttle vehicles that are parked at a variety of locations within the county to and from the designated car wash facilities.Decide which vehicles need cleaning by inspecting the appearance of vehicles both inside and out.
Top off washer fluid and do a wiper blade inspection.
Perform a vehicle walk around and report any observed deficiencies or damage to the fleet services staff. Position also involves some computer tasks such as entering timecards, data entry in Excel, and using motor pool software to check in vehicles, and other duties as assigned.
Candidate may report to County facilities in Jordan or Shakopee.
Hours are flexible: 10-12 hours per week any time M-F after 4:30 PM or any time on weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a minimum of 18 years or older have a valid Minnesota driver's license and a maintain a safe driving record. Must be able to work independently and have good computer skills.
Selection Process
Selection for this position will be based on a minimum qualifications screening and rating of training and experience. Top candidates will be forwarded to the hiring manager or supervisor for consideration for interview and/or additional assessments. Final selection will include a background check and approval by the County Board.
