Positions Available:

• Fairway Mowers: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 5:00 AM – 8:30/9:00 AM
• Rough Mowers: Schedule to be discussed
• Greens Mowers: Monday–Saturday, 5:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Flexible schedule)
• Cup Cutters: Monday–Saturday, 5:00 AM – 7:00/8:00 AM (Flexible schedule)

Position Overview

The Grounds Maintenance team is responsible for maintaining the golf course to the highest standards by operating specialized mowing equipment and performing daily course setup. This role ensures optimal playing conditions for members by maintaining fairways, rough, greens, and hole locations. These positions require attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently during early morning hours.

Key Responsibilities

General Responsibilities (All Roles):

• Operate golf course maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain clean, consistent turf conditions according to club standards
• Follow daily assignments provided by the Grounds Superintendent or supervisor
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Support overall golf course preparation for daily play

Fairway Mowers:

• Mow fairways using specialized fairway mowing equipment
• Maintain consistent mowing patterns and turf appearance
• Monitor turf conditions and report any concerns

Rough Mowers:

• Mow primary and secondary rough areas
• Maintain consistent height and appearance of rough turf
• Navigate terrain safely and efficiently

Greens Mowers:

• Mow putting greens with precision and attention to detail
• Follow rotating mowing patterns to maintain optimal turf health
• Assist with additional greens maintenance tasks as needed

Cup Cutters:

• Change hole locations according to daily course setup standards
• Ensure clean, level cup placement and proper flag positioning
• Assist with greens setup and related tasks

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work early morning shifts consistently
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift
• Previous golf course maintenance or landscaping experience
• Familiarity with golf course equipment
