Regular office hours as well as additional time required by developing situations.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Grounds Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and overall exterior appearance of company properties. This position supervises Grounds Maintenance Technicians, coordinates daily operations, ensures compliance with safety standards, and maintains high-quality property conditions across assigned locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Supervises and schedules Grounds Maintenance Technicians.
• Conducts routine inspections of company properties to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are maintained.
• Oversees landscaping, mowing, trimming, power washing, snow removal, and exterior maintenance operations.
• Ensures parking lots, sidewalks, fuel islands, and forecourt areas are safe and well maintained.
• Performs and/or oversees minor exterior repairs including lighting, signage, and general upkeep.
• Monitors inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; orders materials as needed.
• Ensures proper maintenance and safe operation of all grounds equipment.
• Trains team members on safety procedures, equipment use, and company standards.
• Enforces safety policies and ensures required personal protective equipment (PPE) is used.
• Responds promptly to maintenance concerns and emergency exterior issues.
• Assists with budget monitoring and vendor coordination as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
3+ years of grounds maintenance, landscaping, facilities maintenance, or related experience required.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

• Knowledge of groundskeeping, landscaping, and exterior maintenance practices.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate team members effectively.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping and maintenance equipment.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic budgeting and inventory management skills preferred.

Certifications & Licenses:
