We are seeking a Certified Project Interior Designer (or Project Interior Designer if not licensed) to lead the design process for hospitality-focused projects across all phases. Based in our Las Vegas office, this role requires a strong design vision, technical expertise, and the ability to guide teams while delivering innovative, high-quality design solutions.
This role is ideal for a designer who excels at both creative thinking and execution. Someone who can translate ideas into well-crafted, buildable environments while fostering collaboration and mentorship within the team.
- Lead the interior design process for small to medium-scale hospitality and gaming projects across all phases, from concept through construction administration
- Develop strong design concepts, 3D models, and compelling presentations for client reviews
- Present design ideas to clients and serve as the primary liaison between the client and project team
- Manage specifications and selection of finishes, lighting, and furniture, including FF&E specifications and procurement coordination
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and material samples to ensure alignment with design intent
- Coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, and interdisciplinary teams for technical and design integration
- Apply regenerative and sustainable design approaches to enhance the built, social, and natural environments
- Mentor junior team members through guidance, feedback, and thoughtful task delegation
- Oversee preparation of accurate, code-compliant interior documentation that meets contract requirements
- Participate in construction administration, including site visits and design verification
- Support project pursuits by preparing proposal content and participating in client interviews
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the interiors resource library
- Certified, registered, or licensed Interior Designer strongly preferred; Project Interior Designer title applies if not licensed
- 8+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably within hospitality and gaming
- Strong portfolio demonstrating hospitality design work, 3D modeling, and presentation capabilities
- Proven experience with shop drawings, submittals, FF&E specifications, and design documentation
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with confidence presenting to groups
- Proficiency in Revit/BIM 360, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam
- Strong capability in 3D modeling and visualization using tools such as Enscape and Lumion
- Preferred experience with DesignSpec software for specification writing and review
- Working knowledge of building codes and permitting processes related to interior projects
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead teams and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
$75,000 - $120,000 a year
