As a Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading and developing a team of sales representatives, driving day-to-day execution, and supporting territory growth. This role is ideal for someone ready to step into leadership while staying close to the field and customer relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Coach, develop, and support a team of sales representatives through regular field engagement and performance feedback
- Execute regional sales strategies to achieve territory revenue, growth, and market share goals
- Monitor individual and team performance against quotas and key metrics; provide actionable coaching
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts in alignment with regional hiring plans
- Partner with sales reps on key account calls, including operating room and on-call support as needed
- Help resolve customer concerns by collaborating with internal teams and escalating when appropriate
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, pricing, and operations to support product launches and execution
- Gather and share market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback
- Ensure accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and CRM utilization
- Drive cross-selling initiatives and support new product introductions within the team
- Reinforce compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Represent VB Spine professionally in customer interactions, meetings, and training environments
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of successful sales experience in medical devices or a related industry (spine preferred)
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and financial targets
- Strong understanding of sales strategy, customer engagement, and territory management
- Ability to build relationships with surgeons, clinicians, and healthcare stakeholders
- Experience supporting business planning, forecasting, and performance management
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and support on-call needs as required
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in clinical environments, including operating rooms

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is $85,000 – $280,000 annually with bonus potential.
VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
