About the Position:

As a Front End Associate at Pilgrim's Market, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a clean shopping environment. Your role will involve ringing up orders, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ring up customer orders accurately using a POS system.
• Bag customer orders and provide carry-out services as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries and assist them with their shopping experience.
• Organize and replenish shopping carts and front-end supplies.
• Count cash tills in and out accurately.
• Sanitize high-touch front-end areas to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and disposing of trash.

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts.
• Willingness to ask questions and learn about the store and industry.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Accurate cash handling skills and strong money-related math abilities (e.g., making change, calculating percentages).
• Ability to safely handle common allergens, including nuts, seafood, shellfish, wheat, and dairy.
• Must be at least 19 years of age (required to sell alcohol in Idaho).
• Professional appearance and ability to represent Pilgrim's Market positively.
• Capability to provide and receive constructive feedback for personal and team development.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. repeatedly and twist from side to side.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for the entire shift.
• Vision corrected to 20/20.
• Proficient in operating equipment such as phones, intercom systems, POS systems, credit card machines, and calculators.
