About the Role
Liveo Research is seeking a Cost Accountant to support our manufacturing accounting operations at our Delaware City facility.
This is an entry-level, on-site role designed for a recent graduate who wants to develop strong cost accounting skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
We’re looking for someone who thinks like a business analyst—analytical, logical, and curious—who can turn data into insights that drive better business decisions.
No prior manufacturing experience required—we will train the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze production costs and prepare variance reports (actual vs. standard)
- Support monthly close, including inventory and cost-related entries
- Partner with Operations to understand cost drivers and efficiencies
- Prepare reports on product costing, pricing, and profitability
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support process improvements
- Assist with maintaining cost accounting systems and documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience (internships/co-ops a plus)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
- ERP experience (SAP preferred) is a plus
