Under the direction of the Facilities and Safety Manager, the Cleaner performs tasks related to the up keep of agency buildings.

CLEANING: Performs all aspects of cleaning for specific agency facilities which includes floors, trash collection and removal, service/clean restrooms, clean/polish furniture, dusting, windows/walls, or any other areas that need cleaning. Will be responsible for maintaining a cleaning schedule to make sure all areas are being completed on a reoccurring basis.

SAFETY: Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliances to ensure that hazards are not created. Report any safety concerns to Facilities Supervisor and Facilities and Safety Administrative Manager. Follow safety procedures for use of chemical cleaners and equipment.

MOVING: Moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed for the agency.
