Part-Time Maintenance Worker at Town of Butner – Butner, North Carolina

A Part-Time Maintenance Worker is needed to pick up trash and remove debris throughout the town limits. This position will also perform a variety of unskilled maintenance tasks in facilities, parks, and grounds, as well as in drainage systems. Work may involve operating light equipment and hand tools, such as weed eaters and leaf blowers.

Employees are subject to working in outdoor environments, which may include extreme hot and cold weather and exposure to hazards such as loud noise, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.

The hiring salary is $19,393 for a 20-hour-a-week flexible work schedule. Successful completion of 6 months of employment earns a 5% salary increase.

The selected applicant will be required to complete a drug screening.
