Experience in general Maintenance Work desired, preferably Health care maintenance Required Licenses

-Knowledge of basic tools requiring dexterity, hand eye coordination and visual coordination
-PC skills (Word, Excel) Preferred
-In good health with adequate strength and endurance to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities.
-Knowledge of how to work safely.
-Willing to be trained in any of the categories of maintenance and repair in which he may have need of instruction.
-Knowledge of the use of basic hand and power tools and test equipment used in maintenance.
-Must be able to read and write legibly.

Required Skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual coordination
- Communicates well with patients/visitors, department team members, and other hospital staff
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Demonstrated ability in using machines, tools, repair of equipment, and maintenance
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant equipment, policies (internal and network), and procedures to promote safe operations Essential Functions -This person will be driving large Box truck (CDL not required) able to lift over 100 lbs. communication with staff and Leaders required. - Manage department calls and navigate facility Work Order System.
- Complete assigned/unassigned Work Orders in a timely manner.
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance assignments on facilities equipment/systems. Record and maintain documentation for preventative maintenance assignments.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Carpentry skills preferred
