About the Role

As a Pet Travel Coordinator, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our clients, guiding them through the relocation process from start to finish. You’ll manage bookings, coordinate with brokers and veterinarians, stay up to date on travel regulations, and ensure each pet’s journey is smooth and stress-free. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and loves working with both people and pets!

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and oversee pet relocations with precision and care.
  • Research and recommend travel options based on client needs and budget.
  • Make flight reservations and coordinate with trusted brokers and veterinarians.
  • Ensure all travel regulations and documentation are up to date.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing exceptional service.
  • Handle logistical tasks such as crate preparation and airport pickups (primarily IAD).
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Ability to obtain Fear Free certification within 12 months.
  • Eligibility for TSA STA certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for animals and their well-being.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or certifications or licenses, in a related field.
  • Experience in pet care, hospitality, logistics, or veterinary care.

Work Schedule & Physical Requirements

  • Full-time (40-45 hours/week).
  • Some weekends required based on flight schedules.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted and sit/stand for long periods.
