Working in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Growth Management teams, you will shape customer-level business plans and ensure flawless in-market execution. The position combines strategic leadership with strong hands-on ownership of trade investment, performance tracking, and ROI optimization. You will also play a key role in elevating category performance through customer-specific strategies and joint business planning.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies that maximize growth, profitability, and customer impact across key U.S. channels.

  • Define and execute customer- and channel-specific 4P strategies, ensuring alignment between brand priorities and sales execution in the marketplace.
  • Lead trade investment planning, tracking, and optimization, ensuring effective allocation of budgets and strong ROI across accounts.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, RGM, and Finance teams to build integrated commercial strategies and annual customer business plans.
  • Oversee pricing, promotion, and activation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent execution.
  • Manage customer-level performance tracking, including P&L analysis, trade spend evaluation, and identification of growth opportunities.
  • Ensure excellence in execution of trade activations, including measurement of effectiveness, compliance, and documentation of results.
  • Support joint business planning with key retail partners and contribute to strategic decision-making at the customer level.
Requirements:

This position requires strong commercial expertise, deep CPG experience, and the ability to translate strategy into execution in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in consumer packaged goods, retail, or sales/trade marketing roles.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or strategic leadership capacity preferred.
  • Strong understanding of 4P strategy, trade marketing principles, and customer business planning.
  • Proven experience in P&L management, trade spend analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to analyze complex business situations and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and execution capabilities.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and market standards
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Retirement savings plans (e.g., 401k)
  • Paid time off and flexible vacation policies
  • Professional development and learning opportunities
  • Inclusive and collaborative work environment
  • Exposure to global brands and cross-functional strategic projects
  • Opportunity to directly impact category growth and commercial performance.
