This role plays a key part in designing, analyzing, and managing compensation programs that support organizational strategy and ensure market competitiveness across a large, multi-site healthcare environment. You will be responsible for evaluating jobs, maintaining salary structures, and supporting annual and off-cycle compensation cycles that directly impact employee rewards and retention. The position combines analytical rigor with strategic HR partnership, requiring close collaboration with business leaders and HR teams. You will also contribute to equity programs, incentive plan administration, and compensation system management. Working remotely, you will help ensure fair, consistent, and data-driven pay practices across the organization. This is a highly analytical and influential role where compensation insights directly shape workforce strategy and organizational effectiveness.
- Administer and manage compensation programs, including base pay structures, incentive plans, and performance-related compensation processes.
- Conduct job evaluations, FLSA classifications, and salary benchmarking to ensure accurate grading and market alignment.
- Maintain and update compensation structures across multiple business units, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Participate in compensation surveys and industry benchmarking activities to monitor market trends and regulatory compliance.
- Support annual and mid-year compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and incentive planning processes.
- Prepare and analyze compensation data, including salary, bonus budgets, and pay equity assessments.
- Provide administrative and analytical support for equity programs, including system uploads, reporting, and participant communications.
- Manage compensation and performance management systems, including configuration, administration, and user support.
- Collaborate with managers to maintain accurate job descriptions and organizational job architecture.
- Deliver reporting, presentations, and insights to support compensation strategy and decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in compensation, ideally at a senior analyst level.
- Strong knowledge of compensation principles, HR practices, and relevant employment regulations.
- Experience with salary surveys, job pricing, job architecture, and compensation benchmarking tools.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience managing annual compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and long-term incentive programs.
- Strong understanding of HR systems and compensation platforms (e.g., Ultipro or similar tools).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in healthcare or highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.
