This role sits at the core of a fast-moving AI startup building next-generation Generative AI solutions for professional services. You will design and develop scalable AI-powered applications that leverage large language models to automate and optimize complex enterprise workflows. The environment is highly technical, product-driven, and innovation-focused, where engineers are expected to own features end-to-end—from architecture to deployment. You will work closely with domain experts, product leaders, and engineers to translate real business challenges into intelligent AI systems. The role combines deep Python engineering with applied GenAI, cloud-native development, and system design at scale. It offers strong autonomy and the opportunity to directly shape impactful AI products from early stage to production.

• Design, build, and deploy scalable Generative AI applications using Python, leveraging LLMs and modern AI frameworks to solve enterprise-grade problems.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native solutions, primarily on Azure, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across production environments.
• Contribute across the full stack where needed, supporting seamless integration between backend services, APIs, and user-facing components.
• Fine-tune and optimize LLM-based systems, including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and agent-based workflows for structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, domain specialists, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver business-aligned AI solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the overall technical bar within the team.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in GenAI, LLMs, and applied AI systems to continuously improve architecture and capabilities.

• 8+ years of professional experience in Python development, including hands-on delivery of machine learning or Generative AI applications.
• Strong experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions on Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure App Services, Functions, AI Services, Azure Search, databases).
• Deep understanding of large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta) and their application in chatbots, RAG systems, and agentic workflows.
• Strong experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar tooling.
• Advanced Python skills with familiarity in libraries such as PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, or equivalent.
• Solid grasp of cloud architecture, API design, and scalable system development in production environments.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative startup settings.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
