What You’ll Do:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for a regional portfolio of multifamily communities, ensuring alignment with company goals and ownership expectations while driving strong financial and operational performance. Partner closely with Community Managers to develop and execute action plans focused on occupancy, NOI, resident satisfaction, and overall asset performance. Oversee portfolio-level financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting, while monitoring leasing performance and collaborating with marketing to implement effective leasing and branding strategies.
Ensure a consistent, resident-first experience across all communities by addressing escalated concerns in a timely and professional manner and conducting regular property inspections to maintain standards related to maintenance, safety, curb appeal, and compliance. Maintain strict adherence to Fair Housing laws, local, state, and federal regulations, and company policies, while proactively identifying and mitigating operational, financial, and compliance risks.
Stay informed on market trends, rent comparables, and regional economic conditions to support pricing strategies and operational improvements. Coach, mentor, and develop Community Managers and onsite leadership teams to build high-performing, accountable teams, and represent RYSE Management in acquisitions, transitions, audits, and other corporate or cross-functional initiatives as needed.
What You Bring:
*Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (Master’s preferred)
*Minimum 3+ years in a regional or multi-site leadership role within multifamily property management *Proven experience managing diverse portfolios and leading teams to achieve performance goals
*Real Estate license required in applicable states (or ability to obtain) Industry certifications such as CPM®, CAPS®, or CAM® strongly preferred
*Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing P&Ls and property-level financials
*Proficiency in RealPage and Microsoft Office Suite
*Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
*Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, landlord-tenant laws, and OSHA standards
*Ability to travel within the assigned region up to 60% of the time
