Location: Linville, North Carolina | Full-Time | Nights 7:00pm to 7:00am

Compensation: Starting at $34.00/hour, based on experience, education, certification, and internal equity

Schedule: Variable shifts with shift differential eligibility

Provide direct and indirect nursing care to meet patients’ psychosocial, physical, and restorative needs
-
Deliver patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
-
Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes or emergency situations
-
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and within scope of practice
-
Delegate and supervise appropriate aspects of care delivery
-
Document nursing care, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
-
Uphold ethical standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
-
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required at hire
-
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) required within one year of hire
-
Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
-
Prior healthcare experience in acute or clinic settings preferred
-
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
-
Commitment to patient safety, dignity, and compassionate care
-
Lift, position, push, pull, or transfer patients weighing over 50 pounds
-
Prolonged standing, walking, and sitting during shifts exceeding 8 hours
-
Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, and reaching
-
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, hazardous equipment, chemicals, and emergency situations
-
Work schedules may include nights, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours
-
Exposure to vibration, cramped spaces, and frequent close visual and auditory tasks
-
