POSITION OVERVIEW

Burn Boot Camp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Systems Architect to own and manage strategic relationships with external technology vendors and agencies. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of accountability for vendor performance, delivery, communication, and alignment to Burn’s business objectives.

This role serves as the architectural and relationship owner for key platforms including FranConnect, CRM systems, BurnGPT (AI), ADP, NetSuite, Shopify agencies, and other technology partners. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, outcome-oriented, and comfortable holding external partners accountable while navigating complex, cross-functional initiatives.

This role is not a hands-on developer or internal project executor. Instead, it exists to drive clarity, accountability, and predictable delivery across Burn Boot Camp’s technology ecosystem.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Vendor and Agency Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary owner and point of contact for assigned technology vendors and agencies.
    • Build andmaintainstrong, trust-based relationships with vendor account managers, delivery leads, and executives.
    • Establish clear expectations for communication, delivery standards, and responsiveness.
    • Act as Burn Boot Camp’s representative in vendor discussions, escalations, and roadmap alignment conversations.
  • Delivery Oversight and Accountability
    • Own vendor-led initiatives from intake through delivery, ensuring alignment to business priorities.
    • Translate internal business needs into clear scopes, milestones, and success criteria for partners.
  • Hold vendors accountable to agreed timelines, quality standards, SLAs, and contractual commitments.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
    • Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Product to:
      • Gather requirements and priorities.
      • Align vendors to internal roadmaps and timelines.
      • Ensure clarity on ownership, dependencies, and expectations.
    • Reduce internal friction by owning vendor management and follow-ups.
  • Communication, Governance, and Operating Rhythm
    • Establish and manage vendor operating cadences.
    • Own all vendor-related communications and provide status updates to cross-functional team members.
    • Manage intake of vendor-related requests across the organization
    • Ensure work is properly prioritized, sequenced, and resourced across vendors.
    • Maintain clear documentation for vendor ownership, ongoing scope, and delivery expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Business, Project Management, Technology, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience managing technology vendors, agencies, or system integrators.
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as HRIS, ERP, eCommerce, CRM, o rMarTechsystems (e.g.ADP, NetSuite, Shopify, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into deliverables and solutions.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure in evolving environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in the fitness or wellness industry is a plus but not required.
