Prep/Deburr at Diamondback Firearms – Cocoa, Florida

JOB TITLE: DBF Prep/Deburr

JOB SUMMARY

This role is responsible for prepping parts for production, while offering support to meet the production schedule.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools.
• Must have a high attention to detail.
• Must have a high level of craftsmanship.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and pass a respirator fit test annually.
• Must be able to lift to/from floor up to 50 lbs.

CORE DUTIES

• Grinding and removing excess material (burrs) from surfaces.
• Adhere to the daily production schedule
• Perform grinding, tumbling, deburring, and sand blasting
• Polish and deburr metal parts as needed
• Package product as needed for production.
• Inspect parts and report any cosmetic issues to the team lead
• Assist assembly and all other duties as assigned

HOURS

• 1st shift position
• Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Friday - overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.? Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
