Voluntary Action Center of Northern Illinois (VAC) is a mission-driven nonprofit celebrating 50 years of service, dedicated to promoting dignity, health, and self-sufficiency while reducing social isolation through trusted transportation and nutrition programs. Serving seniors and individuals with disabilities across five counties, VAC delivers over 205,000 meals annually and provides nearly 75,000 rides, ensuring access to food, healthcare, and connection.
