Receiving Coordinator at Geiger Bros – Lewiston, Maine

Duties
Under general supervision of the Distribution and Decoration Center Manager the Receiving Coordinator will be, responsible for day-to-day receiving operations.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Generate daily inbound receiving reports
• Print Purchase Orders, Item, and location labels for inbound receptions
• Find appropriate picking locations for new items based on configuration and assign in Glinx as needed
• Assist in prepping the receiving area for daily inbound receiving
• Assist in inbound unloading process and package sorting
• Research inbound products with no purchase orders, contact appropriate internal person to get the needed information.
• Receive product and enter counts into the system
• Communicate with CP Program management and Inventory departments on issues with the product, information on counts and logos
• Maintain and track red zone for problem orders, and process red zone orders once issues are resolved.
• Work with Inventory Specialist to resolve claims
• Oversee tracking of internal deliveries to recipients in the office
• Process inbound returns and contact customer service for guidance when necessary

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime when needed.

Basic Knowledge

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience adapting to a variety of computer systems
