We are looking for a dynamic Senior All-Domain Fires Specialist to support the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Operations Directorate at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. The role involves identifying, analyzing, articulating requirements, and planning, while focusing on the direction of All-Domain, Services, Allies, and Partner Nations fires. The position emphasizes the integration of manned and unmanned aerial platform operations, kinetic and non-kinetic effects, and mitigating risks to force and/or risk to mission in the Indo-Pacific.

Specifically, you will support the Joint Mission Integration and Experimentation (JMIE) program, engaging DoD stakeholders from every warfighting domain to define experimentation technical requirements, scope, and schedule. The position will assist in design of experiments for test execution and provide warfighting capability assessments and analysis to expedite the delivery of emerging technologies and critical warfighting capabilities. Your role will be crucial in fostering teamwork and cultivating a collaborative culture, while working closely with government leadership to enable contractor activities supporting JMIE.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Identifying, analyzing, and articulating requirements and artifacts in planning and operational execution, focusing on integration across Services, Allies, and Partner Nations within the Indo-Pacific Joint Coalition Fires enterprise, including Special Access Programs (SAP) and Controlled Access Programs (CAP) that support target development.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between the contractor team and JMIE government leadership, providing input and coordination for the development of TTPs, CONOPs, policies, and workflows.
  • Provide input on refinement and tailoring of JMIE program requirements, collection strategies, national intelligence integration, and collaborating with appropriate organizations to advance leading fires concepts.
  • Engage DoD stakeholders to support multi-domain constructive, virtual, and live experimentation of advanced warfighting capabilities.
  • Stay informed on geo-political events, topics, and current events related to the INDOPACOM AOR to provide informed insights to the customer and their distinguished visitors.
Requirements

Location: This position is 100% onsite and based at Camp Smith, Hawaii. No remote or hybrid options are available. Candidates must be able to work fulltime at Camp Smith and maintain daily presence on base to support mission requirements.

Necessary Skills and Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in a military, including 5 years in military operations, focused on military staff planning, capabilities, strategies, and technologies.
  • 10+ years of combined experience in military operations with a focus on joint kinetic and non-kinetic fires and/or targeting/Intel, with at least three years of experience in the INDOPACIFIC.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical projects of a research and development (R&D) nature in advanced techniques, theories, and practices in technology programs transitioning to operational use.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational knowledge management, and operational assessment capabilities.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI). (TS/SCI)
  • U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
  • Weapons School graduate is highly desired.
  • Graduate of Joint Targeting Course and/or Target Development Course is highly desired.
  • Expert in all faucets of the coordination and execution of the F2T2EA processes is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with JMIE and Joint Fires Network (JFN) program objectives is desired.
  • Regional expertise of the political, economic, cultural, and security dynamics within the INDOPACOM AOR is highly desired.
