Position Title: Fire Suppression Technician (Mining & Heavy Equipment)

Location: Madisonville, KY (With Regional Travel)
Pay: $50,000 $65,000 per year + Company Vehicle
Schedule: Full-Time, MondayFriday (10-Hour Shifts + On-Call Rotation)
First-Line Fire Extinguisher Co. is looking for a mechanically-minded problem solver to join our team. We dont just service office buildings; our technicians are vital to the mining industry. We protect the heavy equipment, the assets, and most importantly, the personnel working both above and underground.

The Installs & Repairs: Install, maintain, and repair specialized fire suppression systems on heavy mining equipment (surface and underground).
The Travel: Hit the road. You will travel to regional mining sites at least once a month for multi-day trips to perform inspections and preventative maintenance.
The Diagnostics: Use your mechanical skills to troubleshoot system issues, replace faulty components, and test system functionality.
The Compliance: Document your findings accurately to ensure our clients meet strict safety and regulatory standards.
The Client: Act as the face of First-Line. Communicate effectively with mine operators to explain system operations and maintenance needs.
Mechanical Aptitude: You know your way around hand tools, wrenches, and basic mechanics. (Prior experience as a lube tech, mechanic, or HVAC apprentice is a huge plus!)
The Grit: You are comfortable working in challenging, dirty, and physically demanding environmentsincluding underground mines.
The Flexibility: Willingness to work 10-hour shifts, handle occasional nights/weekends, and take emergency on-call shifts as needed.
The Travel: You must be able to travel out-of-town for a few days at a time, at least once a month.
The Basics: You must be able to commute to (or relocate to) Madisonville, KY, and have a valid driver's license with a clean record for the company vehicle.
