Quality Manager (Remote)
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Quality Manager - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in assuring quality standards and compliance within mission-critical solutions for the defense industry. Your expertise will help integrate customer requirements and international quality standards throughout diverse projects and product development initiatives. This position demands a proactive approach in managing quality assurance while contributing to the companys mission to ensure safety and security through advanced technology. As part of a dynamic team, your impact will be significant in driving quality excellence across various business areas.
Accountabilities- Manage Customer Complaints efficiently to maintain a high customer satisfaction level.
- Participate in project milestone meetings to ensure milestone checklist compliance.
- Perform Buy-off, verifying that deliverables are of the right quality.
- Manage Concessions (Deviations & Waivers) and customer delegations (GQAR, DCMA).
- Conduct compliance evaluations concerning MIL and NATO quality standards and software standards like ED-109A, DO-178.
- Provide input and support to Business Areas and projects as a trusted advisor.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, software or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or quality management.
- Understanding of system-level interactions between mechanical, hardware, and software components.
- Experience in software engineering and development processes preferred.
- Proficiency in performing well-documented audits (project and process audits).
- Strong skills in Microsoft systems.
- Experience in Quality Management and Continuous Improvement, including Lean and Six Sigma, is an advantage.
