About The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Barista to join our Food & Beverage team at the Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. This full-time, hourly position comes with the opportunity to create memorable guest experiences while crafting high-quality coffee and beverages. As a Barista, you will be an essential part of delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where your passion for coffee and expertise can truly shine.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and teas, following standard recipes.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and engaging guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking of the cafe area, including counters, equipment, brewing stations, and seating areas.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
• Assist with the setup, breakdown, and daily operations of the beverage service area.
• Deliver detailed knowledge about menu offerings and ensure accurate order taking and preparation.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily service and promote a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry is a plus.
• Strong passion for coffee and a desire to provide exceptional service in a customer-facing role.
• Proficiency in English with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts as required.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and moving items up to 30 lbs.
