We are seeking an Austrian‐qualified Wirtschaftsprüfer with 5–10+ years of audit experience and fluent German/English skills who is motivated to support and expand Austrian business development efforts.

You will serve as a lead contact for Austrian clients, manage audit engagements under US GAAP, Austrian GAAP, and IFRS, and actively participate in business development and cross-functional advisory projects.

Preferred office location is Charlotte, NC, with additional U.S. office options available and travel both domestically and internationally.

Position Overview:
The Austrian Certified Public Accountant (Wirtschaftsprüfer) will support the Austrian Business Development Team, lead audit projects for Austrian-owned companies operating in the U.S., and contribute to international advisory and cross-border engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for Austrian middle-market clients.
- Support business development initiatives to expand the Austrian client base.
- Work closely with Austrian companies on diverse audit, accounting, and advisory projects.
- Lead audits or reviews of financial statements under US GAAP, Austrian GAAP (UGB), and IFRS.
- Manage and mentor audit teams with a structured, independent working style.
- Collaborate closely with tax professionals on interdisciplinary client matters.
- Advise clients on designing and implementing international transactions.
- Access unlimited training resources and pursue ongoing professional development.
- Receive support in preparing for the U.S. CPA exam.
Qualifications:
- Completed degree in business, economics, or a similar field.
- Completed Austrian audit consultant exam (Wirtschaftsprüfer).
- 5–10+ years of audit experience.
- Fluent in German and English with exceptional communication skills.
- Strong leadership, team collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Solid knowledge of Austrian GAAP (UGB), IFRS, and US GAAP.
- Client-oriented mindset with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Open to networking, presenting, and representing the firm in business development settings.
